Gamboa-Weiss Real Wedding at One&Only Ocean Club, Bahamas

Dominique & Scott

“Every little girl dreams of her wedding day... from the dress she'll wear, to the flowers she'll carry, and obviously the man she'll say I do to. Once I met my Prince Charming, I set off to realize all those little girl dreams. Scott, my then fiancé, now husband, joked through the entire process that this may be Our Wedding, but it was certainly My Day. Enter the One and Only Ocean Club, Jessi Hill and Avani Fernander. This fabulous team worked for a year to ensure every last detail of our wedding was picture perfect! We traveled down to Paradise Island twice before the wedding and Jessi and Avani had every detail, menu item and vendor lined up and ready for us to discuss and experience. We were wowed by the professionalism and quality of every aspect of the planning process. And when the Big Day arrived, it all exceeded all our expectations!

The Augustinian Cloister was the picture perfect setting for our ceremony, orchestrated by Mr. Matthew Sweeting and Sharmond Smith, an amazing Saxophonist. Our cocktail hour was held at the Lily Pond and swayed to the cool beats of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and the like. Our Reception, originally scheduled to be in the Versailles Gardens had to be moved to the Pool Terrace due to some Winter Squalls, but between Jessi, Avani and our team at Wildflowers, you would never have thought that it was the Plan B Site! We entered accompanied by a Junkanoo Band and the stage was set! Our guests only stopped dancing long enough to have the amazing 4-course meal designed specifically to meet my husband and mine's tastes by Chef Manny.

Since that amazing day, we've had so many of our guests tell us that our wedding was not only one of the classiest but also the most fun they had ever attended. I think back to our wedding weekend with such warm memories. The One and Only Ocean Club and its team of incredible professionals helped us create a wedding beyond our wildest dreams!”
